... took 2 new pieces in this week and dug out an existing one. I LOVE this garden Saint Francis, he's almost as tall as I am and has suffered some extensive woodpecker damage ... it was love at first sight for me, so Robin graciously gave him up - I knew he could be saved. Wish I knew who created him, but that will probably remain a mystery.
Oh that is so awesome. This vintage ironing board deserves some attention and I'm glad you are giving it that. St. Francis is totally on a grand scale. Wow! Great stuff, thanks for sharing. Have a great rest of the week.

ReplyDeleteI think it is so cool with the wood pecker injury but then wonder what it is you will do with St. Francis. A true conversation piece! HAPPY PPF!

ReplyDeletewow, look at that old ironing board, very cool. Those wood pecker holes are intense, being in his head, don't they have respect ;-}.

ReplyDeleteThat ironing board would make a wonderful sofa table. St Francis is amazing, wood pecker holes and all.
ReplyDeleteOooh - I love Nelly's idea of using the ironing board as a sofa table (provided you can rid it of the "108" year old smell... I'm not quite sure what that is, but it doesn't sound pleasant! ha!)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you do with your treasures...

These will be great. I think St Francis looks good with the woodpecker damage, and it's kind of funny, actually.
ReplyDeleteOoh, such wonderful treasures! You have to be itching to get to work on these. Can't wait to see what develops. :)
ReplyDeleteThough the prep isn't as exciting to look at, we all know it has to be done. Usually that's the most important part - will be fun to see how things turn out.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for taking the time to share your thoughts. It means a lot. You are all so very talented and I appreciate your direction and inspiration! Happy PPF all week long!
ReplyDeleteYour poor St. Francis looks like he has a head ache. Mean ol' woodpeckers! So the old ironing board smells like it's 108 years old, huh? Hope the fresh air helps.
