Pup Steps ... Wag More ~ Bark Less please!

Bella and Lexi's pet stairs are just about done!

the beautiful handcrafted 'Bohemian Coiled Multicolored mats' (my answer to traction pads for pups) were made by Shelley at Yellow Violet  in East Hartland, CT!

 I LOVE THEM!

Rog built the steps and a pup toy box that I need to paint too!

it's ALL about the pups (kinda)!

oh and check out what's happening at Paint Party Friday this week ... I know I am a day late ... but better late than never!

  3. Great idea! I am afraid it would open a whole new world to explore for our Harley. I hope they don't figure out how to move their stairs...

  4. What a fab idea! I never thought of building a set of steps for my aging lab. Now that she's gone, I wish I had been as clever as you are. This is wonderful.

  5. I used to have steps for my family pet member Chorizo when she was with us. She used them to climb on the bed.:) She'd climb and then lay down and was out like a light. After a while though, she couldn't climb the steps and we'd have to pick her up. I miss my little lady. She left us in 2007. You did a great job painting. Thanks for sharing.

  6. My hubby is building a blanket box (not for blankets) but so our pooch can climb on the bed. She jumps up and it is really high and I don't think it is good for her joints. We now have a chair that we are training her to use. I love the steps.
